I will show my work at the International Comic Festival Fumetto. This exhibition is about the relationship between image/beauty and the mass media and new technologies. I will present some new artwork and illustration exclusively conceived for this event. You’re welcome!

This is a personal project that I began because I love making portraits with pencil and collage. I will do more in the future just for fun.
At the same time all these protraits take part in a project called it Fbook because Facebook it is a big influence on my work. Faces that you don’t know but sometimes are familiar, faces in magazines, on the internet, on TV,….I enjoy drawing people in a free way, so I change the colors and a do my own interpretation of the subjects. I’ve just received two copies of the new calendar from Arbeitszentrum am See,
a printhouse that works with people with a disability to enhance their quality of life.

I did the the layout and ilustrations. All of them have references to popular tales such as “The Bremen musicians”, “Snow white”, “The ugly duck” etc. Every month’s page is printed with two pantones so I could play overlaping the colors or using diferent transparencies.

Here some images I did this summer. I love the way typography was used in the old vinyls from the 50s and 60s, the beauty of the old black and white images and ….the “pop” side of all of it. Enjoy!

I am working on the illustrations for a new novel about travelling in Europa, this one is about a barmaid working at Nufenensee (Switzerland..of course!). Sometimes I enjoy the fact that I don’t have an idea how it will turn out to be….Drawing, scanning, painting with Photoshop, printing it, then searching again for new material, make a new collage, taking a picture of it…and that’s it!

The new products from Gislifluewii (Stollenwerkstatt Aarau) are now available. I realized the entire design at the beginning of this year and I am very proud of it!
